Job Description
Join Materion as a Maintenance Technician and be responsible for safely installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining the facility, its machinery and equipment. Perform general maintenance and repair of machinery and vehicles and their mechanical, electrical and fluid power systems.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 5 years of industrial mechanical and electrical work or an approved 4-year apprentice program with 2 years of industrial maintenance experience
- 1 year of verifiable welding and fabrication experience (preferred)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs; bend, crawl, work in close quarters, and climb stairs frequently; and work on feet most of work day
- Good interpersonal skills and positive team player attitude
- Good verbal and written communications skills
- Basic computer skills including common Microsoft Office packages such as Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams
