Job Description
MATRIX is seeking skilled Ice Road Heavy Duty Mechanics to join their team for an exciting opportunity working in extreme cold and remote environments. In this role, you will maintain and repair heavy equipment used for ice road operations during winter projects.
Requirements
- Journeyperson certification as a Heavy Duty Mechanic or Red Seal certification
- 3-5 years of experience in heavy machinery maintenance and repair
- Experience working in remote locations, preferably in winter or ice road conditions
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to diagnose complex mechanical issues
- Knowledge of CAT equipment operations preferred
- Commitment to workplace safety and a drug-free environment
