Job Description
Matrix is a national company seeking skilled Heavy Duty Mechanics to join their team for ice road operations. The role requires maintaining and repairing heavy machinery in extreme cold and remote environments, with a commitment to safety and willingness to work extended hours.
Requirements
- Journeyperson certification as a Heavy Duty Mechanic or Red Seal certification required
- 3-5 years of experience in heavy machinery maintenance and repair
- Experience working in remote locations, preferably in winter or ice road conditions
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to diagnose complex mechanical issues
- Knowledge of CAT equipment operations preferred
- Commitment to workplace safety and a drug-free environment
