Perform skilled construction tasks, including site prep, material handling, and operation of hand and power tools. Support excavation, concrete, demolition, and general project activities while maintaining a clean and safe work area.
Requirements
- Minimum of three (3) years or more in refinery maintenance experience
- Thorough understanding of Laborer type work and expertise in basic hand tools
- Strong knowledge of industrial safety standards and protocols
- Ability to communicate clearly with team members, supervisors, and other departments about issues and solutions
- Proficiency in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems is essential, along with the ability to read and interpret technical schematics and manuals
- Ability to logically diagnose and solve complex equipment issues independently
- A steady hand and good hand-eye coordination are necessary for working with small parts
- Must be able to pass a Laborer Craft proficiency test at or above 70% or complete the NCCER certification for your craft
- Complete the Company’s Safety training, Process Safety Management training and Client/Site specific training
- MUST obtain and maintain active status within the appropriate drug testing program
- MUST pass background check
- MUST have TWIC card
- MUST have a 20-hour high hazard facility training card
- MUST have Verification of 6,000 craft related hours OR Graduated journeyperson status preferred
