We are seeking an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic Journeyperson to work under the direction of a Foreman. The ideal candidate will have a high level of skill in the industrial maintenance/turnaround/construction/or mechanical environment and possess a strong knowledge of industrial safety standards and protocols.
Requirements
- Minimum of four (4) years' maintenance experience in refinery environment
- Thorough understanding of industrial maintenance type work and expertise in basic hand tools
- Strong knowledge of industrial safety standards and protocols
- Ability to assemble and disassemble refinery equipment
- Proficiency in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
- Ability to read and interpret technical schematics and manuals
- Ability to logically diagnose and solve complex equipment issues independently
- Ability to communicate clearly with team members, supervisors, and other departments about issues and solutions
- Must be able to pass an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic Craft proficiency test at or above 70% or complete the NCCER certification for your craft
- Complete the Company's Safety training, Process Safety Management training and Client/Site specific training
- MUST obtain and maintain active status within the appropriate drug testing program
- MUST pass background check
- MUST have TWIC card
- MUST have a 20-hour high hazard facility training card
- MUST have Verification of 8,000 craft related hours OR Graduated journeyperson status preferred
