Industrial Maintenance Mechanic Journeyperson

Work as an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic Journeyperson under the direction of a Foreman, performing duties in a refinery environment with a focus on safety and quality control.

Requirements

• Minimum of four (4) years' maintenance experience in refinery environment
• Thorough understanding of industrial maintenance type work and expertise in basic hand tools
• Strong knowledge of industrial safety standards and protocols
• Ability to assemble and disassemble refinery equipment
• Ability to proficiently run several types of equipment (forklifts, manlifts, etc.)
• Ability to communicate clearly with team members, supervisors, and other departments about issues and solutions
• Proficiency in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
• Ability to logically diagnose and solve complex equipment issues independently
• Must be able to pass an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic Craft proficiency test at or above 70% or complete the NCCER certification for your craft
• Must obtain and maintain active status within the appropriate drug testing program
• Must pass background check
• Must have TWIC card
• Must have a 20-hour high hazard facility training card
• Must have Verification of 8,000 craft related hours OR Graduated journeyperson status preferred
