Receives instructions for scheduled and emergency repairs, installation, and inspection work. Inspects plant/refinery equipment for defects and determines the best way of making repairs to minimize interruption of production.
Requirements
- Minimum 4 years of experience in refinery maintenance/turnaround/or construction
- General knowledge of basic hand and power tools
- Ability to assemble, install, and test machines and equipment
- Ability to use machinery or equipment such as forklifts to move mechanical parts
- Must be able to pass the Millwright Skills Test at or above 70% or complete the NCCER certification for your craft
- Must complete the Matrix Service Safety training, Process Safety Management training, and Client / Site specific training
