Surgical Technologist - Orthopedic Operating Room - ST

The Surgical Technologist provides safe and efficient care to the surgical patient under the supervision of the registered nurse (RN) and in collaboration with the surgeon. The role requires a strong foundation in sterile and aseptic technique, knowledge of human anatomy, surgical procedures, surgical instrumentation, and technology.

Requirements

• 2-3 years of experience as a Surgical Technologist
• Certification or eligibility for certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST or CSFA)
• Certification in the Advanced Surgical Technologist (CST-AST) role is highly desirable
• Must live within a reasonable driving distance to campus to meet 45-minute on-call requirement
