Mechanical Inspector

Role Overview

We are looking for a Mechanical Inspector to support inspection and quality oversight on large-scale projects across mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and life safety trades. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of QA/QC experience and enjoy field inspections, stakeholder coordination, and detailed documentation.

What You Will Do

As a Mechanical Inspector, you will serve as a key contact collaborating with contractors, designers, and the owner to identify issues early and recommend solutions. You will provide guidance on the mechanical scope and act as the subject matter resource for assigned divisions of work.

Requirements

• Minimum of five years of QA or QC experience on large-scale projects for mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and life safety trades
• Two-year degree in mechanical engineering, or engineering technology combined with a minimum of five years’ experience
• Construction training, experience, and/or coursework in building construction, mechanical or electrical engineering, project management, or materials
• OSHA 10-hour or OSHA 30-hour certification or ability to obtain within 3 months of hire
