Job Description
McAllister Towing of New York Harbor is seeking experienced Mates to assist with the safe and efficient operation of tugs. Mates are responsible for towing, deck evolutions, navigation, and maintaining crew well-being, and will be the First Line Supervisor for deck staff. The company offers a long history of service to the New York Harbor.
Requirements
- Valid Mate 200 Gross Ton License
- Mate or Master of Towing
- Current GMDSS, ARPA, Advanced Firefighting, First Aid/CPR
- Valid STCW, TWIC and Current USCG Medical Certificate
- Valid Merchant Marine Credential
- Tractor tug experience
- Must pass pre-employment drug test
- Must pass pre-employment physical
