Job Description
The licensed plumber is responsible for all phases of potable water, sanitary, gas, and storm drainage systems. This includes installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems to ensure building health and safety. They also focus on safety, compliance, and maintaining equipment.
Requirements
- Plumber’s License
- 5 years as a plumber preferred
- Knowledge of testing plumbing systems to identifying leaks
- Knowledge of basic safety, ADA Requirements, and state and local building / plumbing codes
- Ability to work with various plumbing systems (pvc, abs, no-hub, etc.)
- Knowledge of city and national plumbing codes
- Ability to read and comprehend design drawings
- Ability to operate all types of plumbing equipment
- Ability to recognize and correct dangerous conditions related to gas-fired equipment
- Ability to use special tools and equipment
