Job Description
The Preconstruction Director will be responsible for managing preconstruction activities, providing value alternative solutions, and leading internal teams. The role will also involve maintaining relationships with subcontractors, architects, and engineers, and representing McCarthy at industry events.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture or Engineering
- 10+ years of applicable estimating, design management and/or field management experience
- Proven experience managing preconstruction for large scale projects
- In-depth knowledge of construction principles/practices
- Experience dealing with subcontracts, subcontractors and/or self-perform work
- Strong communication and presentation skills
