The Vice President of Preconstruction is responsible for all preconstruction activities within a business unit, ensuring client satisfaction and internal goals are met. They lead a high-performing organization, manage risk, and participate in regional strategy execution. They also promote McCarthy's one company behavior.
Requirements
- Preconstruction Department Head
- Leads the effort to provide preconstruction services with value to clients and consistent profitability
- Coordinates preconstruction personnel assignments and provides direction to staff
- Establishes and implements training procedures and personnel performance programs
- Responsible for implementing the use of technology improvements to increase preconstruction productivity
- Participates in regional annual business planning
- Establishes department budget and maintains G&A cost control
- Coordinates preconstruction activities with other departments, business units and regions
- Assists in maintaining preconstruction standards through active participation in the NPSC and interregional communications
- Assists in transition to operations including the purchasing and buyout of job
- Responsible to recruit, interview and hire new preconstruction staff
- Work with the business development group in the preparation of preconstruction proposals and preconstruction materials for presentations
