Highway Surveyor

McElhanney has a need for multiple Highway Surveyors to join our Edmonton branch to support our Consultancy services for Highway projects local to Edmonton as well as Province wide.

Requirements

• Two-year technical diploma in Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or relatable subject
• At least 3 years of previous experience in a similar role
• Understanding of Highway construction processes and principles
• Competence in the fundamentals and use of survey instrumentation
• Assignments require a willingness to work up to 12 hours per day and some projects will require working away from home for extended periods
• Physical ability to work on varied terrain, potentially over long days and the ability to lift heavy equipment
