Intermediate Civil Engineer

McElhanney has an exciting opportunity for an Intermediate Civil Engineer to grow our presence in Nanaimo. In this role, you will work on projects that shape the region's future and make a direct impact in local communities. From municipal infrastructure and land development to utility design, you’ll collaborate with a dynamic team of professionals to deliver practical, sustainable solutions.

Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited post-secondary institution
• At least 6 years of relevant civil design experience
• Registration in good standing as a Professional Engineer (P. Eng or eligibility for registration) in British Columbia
• Experience with all government levels, construction contractors and developers would be an asset
• Effective people, client and, project management skills
• Sound business acumen and client liaison skills and a keen entrepreneurial spirit
