Intermediate / Senior Civil Engineering Technologist

McElhanney is seeking a motivated Intermediate / Senior Civil Engineering Technologist to join our team and grow their design expertise across a wide range of private and public projects, including municipal infrastructure, subdivisions, and multi-family developments.

Requirements

• Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology, Drafting Technology, or a related discipline
• 7+ years of progressive experience in civil engineering consulting or a similar technical role
• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D is essential
• Registration as an AScT (or eligibility) or other relevant technical accreditations are considered an asset
• Experience with stormwater, sanitary, water system design/modeling and construction inspection is an asset
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey technical information to clients
• Project management or coordination experience, including stakeholder communication, budget tracking, and documentation to support timely and efficient project delivery
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with proven ability to manage project workflows and produce high-quality deliverables with minimal supervision
