Job Description
McElhanney has an exciting opportunity for a Transportation Design Engineer or Technologist to join our growing Calgary team. If youâre passionate about designing safe, efficient, and communityâfocused transportation infrastructure, this role offers the chance to work on impactful projects across Western Canada.
Requirements
- Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
- 5 - 15+ years of experience in transportation or municipal infrastructure design.
- Registered or eligible for registration as a P.Eng. with APEGA, as C.E.T. with ASET, or equivalent.
- Proficiency with Civil 3D (required); experience with MicroStation/OpenRoads is an asset.
- Strong understanding of roadway geometric design guidelines. Familiarity with various provincial and municipal guidelines throughout Alberta and British Columbia is an asset, particularly City of Calgary and Alberta Transportation and Economic Corridors.
