Canada Excellence Research Chair in Foundations of Efficient Artificial Intelligence

McGill University is seeking a Canada Excellence Research Chair in the area of Foundations of Efficient Artificial Intelligence. The successful candidate will be an internationally recognized leader in AI research, with a track record of impact on data or computational efficiency. They will lead a research program that develops next-generation AI approaches that are more sustainable and accessible.

Requirements

• Currently be at the rank of Full Professor or be an Associate Professor who is expected to be promoted to Full Professor within 2 years
• Have a doctoral degree (or equivalent) in the relevant discipline
• Possess the skills needed to recruit, teach, and mentor a diverse group of researchers and trainees
