Job Description
The Home Study and Post Release Services (HS/PRS) program is a nationwide approach to guarantee the ongoing support as well as the long-term safety, success, and well-being of unaccompanied children prior, during, and after they have been released from the Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) to parents or sponsors.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work, or other relevant degree or equivalent experience
- At least 1 year of experience with child welfare programs
- Knowledge of community resources and ability to connect families to community services
- Excellent clinical and crisis intervention skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Critical assessment and analysis skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to travel up to 70%
- Fluency in Spanish required
