Conseiller(ère) Juridique en Chef Affaires juridiques - Chief Legal Counsel Legal Affairs, Retail Banner Group (18 month contract)

McKesson is seeking a Chief Legal Counsel to work in collaboration with the Retail Business Unit management and other McKesson Canada business leaders to ensure compliance with applicable laws and internal governance standards. The ideal candidate will provide timely and practical legal advice to support the day-to-day business and operational activities of the retail banners across Canada.

Requirements

• University law degree and member in good standing of the Quebec or Ontario Bar
• 5 to 8 years corporate/commercial experience acquired in-house and/or in private practice
• Experience in drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial agreements
• Strong work-organization skills with sound judgment and decision-making abilities
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment
• Bilingual (French and English)
• Proficiency in using technology and AI tools
• High degree of professionalism and integrity
