Corporate Safety Director

The Corporate Safety Director leads the company’s safety strategy and day-to-day safety program to drive safety culture throughout the organization, reduce risk and prevent injuries and ensure compliance with OSHA and other client and industry requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Safety Engineering, Environmental Health, or a related field
• 10+ years of progressive safety leadership experience in an engineering, surveying and/or construction environment (or equivalent scope and complexity)
• Demonstrated people leadership experience, including hiring, coaching/performance management, and team development
• In-depth knowledge of EMR, DART and TRIR metrics, the key elements that determine each, and the drivers that result in better than industry average results
• Strong working knowledge of OSHA standards and best practices for occupational safety programs
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
