The Safety Director is responsible for developing a culture built on safety and providing leadership and direction in the planning, development, implementation and evaluation of Tri-M’s health, safety programs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health and Safety or related degree
- Minimum of 6 years experience in the construction industry, preferably electrical
- In depth knowledge of OSHA and the NEC
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
- Ability to handle difficult situations in a professional, constructive manner
- Intermediate level computer literacy
- Highly organized and ability to prioritize to meet deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work as a team in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality
