The Utility Coordinator is responsible for coordinating utility phases during pre-construction and construction activities, with a focus on proactive communication and relationship-building with utility owners in the west-central Florida region.
Requirements
- Three to seven years of progressive utility coordination experience with FDOT, FHWA, and AASHTO standards, policies, and procedures.
- Strong understanding of utility systems (water, sewer, electric, gas, telecom).
- Ability to read and interpret engineering plans.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Knowledge of FDOT processes.
- Strong organizational and project management abilities.
- Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation ORD/SS10, Bluebeam, FDOT PSEE, Adobe Acrobat.
