Negotiates, drafts, reviews, and revises contracts, including physician and other provider employment-related agreements, and other legal documents to ensure compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations and the business interests of the organization.

- Negotiates, drafts, reviews, and revises contracts, including physician and other provider employment-related agreements, and other legal documents to ensure compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations and the business interests of the organization.
- Provides education to staff and physicians on provider contracts and related legal topics.
- Balances the needs of competing projects and changing priorities and motivates and drives staff performance.
- Develops templates, processes, and policies to assist in streamlining work flow.
- Manages the contracting process and coordinates participation with other departments as necessary.
- Assists in the development of best practices for contract review.
- Advises contract owners and signatories of the financial, operational, and legal risks inherent to the agreement.
- Assess proposed business ventures for potential liability and regulatory risk associated with proposed courses of action and future endeavors.
- Advise and assist leadership with legal aspects of healthcare mergers and acquisitions.
- Supports and works alongside other departments of the organization.
