Job Description
McMillan Pazdan Smith is seeking a creative and innovative Project Designer to join their West Columbia, SC team. The role involves providing production support, reviewing shop drawings, managing budgets, and working with clients to develop construction documents. The company emphasizes strong client relationships and community partnerships and delivers functional and imaginative environmental design.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Architecture or equivalent
- Registered as a licensed architect preferred, but not required
- Five (5) years of combined experience as an intern architect and/or architect
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel software
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite software
- Familiarity with Revit
- Experience with Newforma Project Center
- Experience with Newforma Project Analyzer (Planifi)
- Thorough knowledge of building technology fundamentals
- Excellent time management skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively
- Clear verbal and written communication skills
- Strong cultural awareness
- Physical ability to perform essential job functions
