
Job description
Lead Plastic Injection Molding Operator will run machines, solve problems on the floor, and help lead a small team. This is a working lead position — you’ll be hands-on with setups, mold changes, and troubleshooting while keeping production moving and quality on point.
Set up and run plastic injection molding machines, perform mold changes, startups, and process adjustments, troubleshoot machine, mold, material, and part issues, lead and support operators during daily production, make sure parts meet quality requirements, watch cycle times, scrap, and overall production flow.
5+ years of hands-on plastic injection molding experience, previous lead experience or someone ready to step into a lead role, strong troubleshooting skills and mechanical ability, comfortable working on the floor and leading by example, able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods, good communication and a team-first attitude.
