Job Description
Experience exceptional benefits and join Med-Metrix as an Insurance Information Coordinator, supporting the Collections and/or Denial Management department by gathering and disseminating information from hospitals and insurance companies.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Experience with insurance claims, review of EOBs or denials
- Experience with EAGLE, NAVI-Net, Epic, and I-SUITE a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
- Comfortable speaking with external contacts, including insurance company representatives
- Solid data entry skills and the ability to learn proprietary databases
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organization and time-management skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent customer service skills
- Solid investigative skills and a persistent demeanor
- Reliable, detail-oriented, resourceful, and analytical
- Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate well at all levels of the organization
- Strong problem solving and creative skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses
