As an Account Executive for Contra Costa Times, you will develop effective advertising programs to meet advertisers’ marketing objectives with a combination of both print and digital advertising. You will cultivate relationships with clients with an emphasis on new business, while establishing and achieving department sales goals, both personal and team.
Requirements
- Lead heavy prospecting and sales plan development for new and existing clients, with a specific focus on digital opportunities
- Evaluate sales opportunities to design custom digital programs and craft proposals that clearly demonstrate value
- Achieve sales goals and objectives, including key performance indicators like revenue, active accounts, contract performance, and market share
- Manage sales administration tasks, such as aging and flash reports, while ensuring the accurate processing of all ad orders
- Demonstrate high proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Apply a deep understanding of internet and mobile advertising to solve client challenges
- Execute consultative selling strategies with a consistent ability to close a high volume of sales
