Medical Billing A/R Specialist

We are seeking Medical Billing A/R Specialists to join our team. As a Medical Billing A/R Specialist, you will ensure physician services are billed in a timely manner and obtain the highest reimbursement. Responsibilities include reading and understanding explanations of benefits, managing follow-up on denied claims, and assuring all charges are entered within 24-48 hours of receipt from the physicians/providers.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent
• Minimum of 1 year experience in medical billing
• Multi-Specialty experience is desired
• Experience with Behavioral Health, Substance Use Disorder, and Residential and Detox billing viewed favorably
• Proficiency with A/R follow up
• Knowledge of medical billing systems
• Knowledge of and experience with working unpaid claims for all insurance payers, Medicare, Medicaid, Bureau of Workers' Comp
