Job Description
The primary role of the Accounting Specialist, Accounts Payable position is to process vendor invoices for payment and maintain accounting records.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or associate degree with coursework in accounting preferred and/or 2-3 years of applicable work or military experience
- Experience in Accounts Payable/knowledge of accounting cycle
- Knowledge of Excel spreadsheets and spreadsheet functions
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Proven ability to set goals and meet deadlines
- Ability to communicate and interact effectively with all levels of management
- Ability to take the initiative to complete projects with minimal supervision
