Medical Scribe - Orthopaedics

The Medical Scribe will accompany the physician or licensed provider into the exam room, documenting in the EMR all aspects of patient care. The Scribe will assist the provider in patient care and provide administrative scribing services to ensure the highest quality patient care and experience.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 6 months Certified Medical Assistant or Certified Medical Scribe preferred
• Experience in a healthcare environment
• Excellent computer and typing skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Working knowledge of an electronic medical record application
• Adept knowledge of medical terminology
• High attention to detail
