Job Description
7.1.21 - GIS TECHNICIAN role requires 5+ years of experience in GIS data updates, geoprocessing, and geospatial analysis using ESRI GIS platform.
Requirements
- Diploma in engineering / GIS / Geomatics / Computer Science /IT
- Minimum 5 years experience in GIS data updates, geoprocessing, geospatial analysis, and map preparation using ESRI GIS platform
- Experience in oil and gas industry is highly desirable
- Working knowledge in scripting using python, java, ArcPy, ArcGIS modelbuilder, and ArcGIS SDK for JavaScript
- Working knowledge in processing data captured from Drone, Multi-stations (MS60), and LiDar
- Working knowledge of related software such as FME and Fledermaus is highly desirable
- Skills in MS Office (Excel, MS Access, Word, PowerPoint, etc), Photoshop, image processing and AutoCAD
