Job Description
Meliá is looking for a Chef to prepare and present high-quality dishes, following the hotel's luxury standards. The successful candidate will collaborate with the kitchen team in creating exceptional gastronomic experiences, ensuring guest satisfaction and compliance with food safety and sustainability protocols.
Requirements
- Studies in Gastronomy, Cooking, or related areas.
- At least 2 years of experience as a chef in high-category hotels, luxury restaurants, or similar environments.
- Mastery of modern and traditional culinary techniques; valuable experience in international cuisine.
- Proactive, creative, and detail-oriented person, capable of working under pressure and in a team.
- Availability to work in rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Valuable knowledge of English, especially for interacting with guests and international colleagues.
