Requirements
- Analyze, manage, and apply the Revenue Management strategy of the hotels under your responsibility
- Lead the daily communication with the hotels and provide support to the Area Revenue Manager of your zone
- Develop and maintain Revenue Management tools in case the hotels work with external PMS
- Define pricing strategy and apply it through all systems and channels
- Manage daily RMS through the creation of necessary pricing rules to put into practice the hotel strategy
- Ensure the proper management of the inventory of the hotels in the portfolio
- Lead channel management, responsible for ensuring that the defined pricing strategy by market segment is properly implemented in each platform
- Configure and follow up on daily overbooking decisions
- Coordinate the load of the participation defined for promotions and campaigns
- Audit that such load is displayed as agreed upon in all distribution channels
- Responsible for searching for events in the destination that may influence demand, establishing the "Event Calendar" with the Sales team
- Verify that the daily rate is correctly positioned taking into account competitors, daily pick up, and hotel objectives
- Review and analyze the pricing strategy of the hotels in the compset and other relevant structures according to different conditions
- Interact with the M&E department to ensure that pricing instructions and the strategy decided by the Area RM Revenue Manager Zone are followed in quotations
- Manage the opening and closing of the levels of the MHI Pyramid
- Responsible for opening, managing, and following up on requests in the Jira/clickon tool as well as all RM-related tickets
- Ability to influence advising the property on defining the Budget of Income Bed and Breakfast
- Prepare and introduce in available tools the monthly forecast in a timely manner and agreed upon with the property
- Supports the Cluster RM by analyzing and following up on the market penetration of the hotel on a daily basis
- Closely monitors the behavior of the pricing of the hotels in the compset using the rate shopping tools available
- Prepare and distribute the necessary reports to all departments and hotels in the established timeframes
- Collaborate with the different areas of the Franchises department to understand the strategy as a combination and integration of all key points for the development and success of a franchised hotel
- Lead Business Review with the frequency agreed upon with the property and always collaborating with the other Areas of Franchises
- Expands the revenue management culture in the team and has a versatile role to assume hotels in the portfolio at a global level
- Responsible for the workload related to generating and updating periodic and ad-hoc reports for possible meetings and analysis
- Generates the necessary alerts to notify possible data integrity problems and reports in a timely manner
- Prioritizes sales through the direct channel over third parties, especially in times of high demand
- Uses the tools available for the disintermediation of OTAs and other commissioned channels
- Provides analytical support to the Cluster Area RM when necessary
- Ensures the use of the Hotelbook tool to 100%
- Marks the recommended sales guidelines related to UPSELLING
- Embraces new technologies and protocols provided by MHI
- Is an ambassador of the company's reporting model, as well as supporting the standardization and update of BI and reporting tools
- Aligns consensus, validation, and daily relationship with the Franchises department based on the Process Matrix defined and approved
