PBX Operator - Weekends

At Memorial Hermann, we are seeking a PBX Operator to ensure adequate communication between parties and hospital personnel, operating a telephone switchboard and dispatching calls. The successful candidate will have strong customer service and communication skills, and will be responsible for delegating incoming calls, calling emergency codes, and documenting and paging teams as needed.

Requirements

• High School Diploma preferred
• Three (3) years of PBX telephone experience
• Two (2) years customer service experience
• Ability to operate telephone switchboard; basic computer skills required
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with the public, physicians, ancillary departments and other staff members
• Strong customer service skills and ability to multi-task while working in a complex and stressful environment
