REGISTERED NURSE

This is a Full Time Position in Med/Surg. Plans, implements, and evaluates patient care plans based on patient assessment to optimize outcomes and maximize available resources.

Requirements

• Plans, implements, and evaluates patient care plans
• Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition
• Collaborates across disciplines to coordinate patient care
• Identifies barriers to effective communication
• Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and provides patient/family education
• Effectively delegates patient care
• Employs critical thinking skills, decisive judgement, and the ability to work with minimal supervision
• Performs other duties as assigned
• Partners with the healthcare consumer to implement a patient centered plan of care
• Demonstrates caring attitudes and behaviors to develop therapeutic relationships
• Uses evidence-based interventions and strategies to achieve optimal outcomes
• Integrates critical thinking and technology solutions
• Delegates according to the health, safety and welfare of the patients we serve
• Demonstrates respect, equity, and empathy in actions and interactions with culturally diverse and vulnerable patients
