The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing production equipment, as well as performing preventive maintenance following corporate standards for quality and safety.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- AA Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Maintenance
- Completion of a craft apprenticeship
- 4+ years of manufacturing experience
- Mechanical & electrical and industrial skills
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and a safe manner
- Ability to work overtime and weekends as required
- Ability to work on a rotating shift as needed
- Ability to effectively work in teams
- Ability to work in a production-based environment with moving equipment and people
- Ability to interact and communicate effectively with a wide variety of roles
- Able to read, write and understand English
- Must be highly motivated and able to work independently
- Ability to read, comprehend and, where necessary, complete: blueprints, electrical schematics, operating and maintenance manuals, work orders, repair parts requests
