Job Description
MHA is seeking a Part-time Advanced Practice Nurse to join our Wellness Hub Team! This position provides Psychiatric Urgent Care and requires a current NJ license as Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP).
Requirements
- Current NJ license as Advanced Practice Nurse (APN)
- Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
- Ability to assess psychiatric needs and early warning signs of psychiatric crisis
- Ability to complete documentation for psychiatric evaluations and other services in an accurate and timely manner
- Ability to use MI to engage with individuals effectively
- Ability to educate individuals regarding the relationships between medications, behavioral health, and physical health issues
- Ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally
