Job Description
MHP is seeking a full-time Recovery Learning Specialist to facilitate recovery groups for individuals working towards acquiring and utilizing skills needed to support their recovery. The role involves curriculum development, group facilitation, community resource access, and participant support. MHP is recognized for its commitment to nurturing mentally healthy workplaces and receives awards such as the Mental Health America Platinum Bell Seal Award.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED required
- 2 years of related work experience
- Credentialed as a Certified Peer Specialist is a plus
- Valid driver's license
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to work independently and complete assignments within parameters
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- First Aid/CPR certification (certified or ability to be certified within 6 months)
