Job Description
Financial Accountant position available at Mercedes-Benz Australia Pacific, based in Mulgrave, Victoria, Australia. The role involves preparing and maintaining timely and accurate financial information, driving accuracy and timely delivery of monthly profit and loss and balance sheet reports, and supporting IFRS reporting submissions to Headquarters.
Requirements
- Degree qualified in a business, finance or accounting discipline
- Either CA or CPA qualified/working towards
- Strong understanding of the accounting principles and how they apply to a commercial setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work closely with a variety of key stakeholders
- Meticulous attention to detail and strong analytical skills as well as the ability to manage and juggle competing priorities in a dynamic and fast paced environment
- Expert skills in MS Excel
- A proactive mindset for identifying and implementing process automation opportunities, ideally first experience with AI implementations
- Experience using SAP would be highly regarded but not essential
- Minimum 3 years of experience
