Job Description
We are seeking a Program Instructor to work with Individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities in their homes and community. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support and care to these individuals, including assisting with daily routines and recreational activities. The ideal candidate will be a team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and will be able to demonstrate the company's C.A.R.E. values (compassion, adaptability, respect, and empowerment).
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED equivalent and be at least 18 years old
- One (1) year of relevant experience working with Individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities, behavioral challenges, dual diagnoses, or in the care of the medically fragile
- Current driver's license and California automobile insurance coverage for driving your personal vehicle to and from various community locations
- Ability to read, write and speak English
- Bilingual in English/Spanish is preferred
