Job Description
The Mercer Medicine clinic in Hamilton, Georgia is searching for a Certified Medical Assistant/Medical Assistant. Responsibilities include performing annual wellness visits, EMR documentation, patient work up, and other assigned tasks within the scope of their certification.
Requirements
- High school diploma/GED and at least six months of healthcare experience
- Current national CMA certification
- Phlebotomy experience is required for CMAs but is preferred for MAs
- CPR certification within 6 months of start date
- Experience with an electronic medical record system, preferably EMD and/or Athena
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
