Job Description
Mercer Medicine is searching for a Certified Medical Assistant or Medical Assistant for the Fort Gaines, Georgia clinic. Responsibilities include EMR documentation, patient work up, and performing assigned tasks within the scope of their certification.
Requirements
- High school diploma/GED and at least six months of healthcare experience are required.
- Current national CMA certification required for Certified Medical Assistant position.
- Phlebotomy experience is required for CMAs but is preferred for MAs.
- CPR certification must be earned within 6 months of start date.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task.
- Experience with an electronic medical record system, preferably EMD and/or Athena.
