We're looking for a Mechanical Department Manager to lead our mechanical engineering team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the utility and heavy industrial sectors, a proven track record of managing and mentoring engineering staff, and driving business development initiatives.
Requirements
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to the mechanical engineering staff
- Manage project teams and resources to ensure timely and successful completion of engineering deliverables
- Oversee project budgets, schedules, and quality, ensuring adherence to project requirements, contract terms, and company standards
- Collaborate with other engineering disciplines, project managers, and clients to ensure effective project coordination and integration
- Act as a client liaison on technical issues; expand and foster relationships with new and existing clients to support business development efforts
