Inside Sales Rep/DZ Driver

Role Overview

As an Inside Sales Rep/DZ Driver, you will drive a well-maintained vehicle, represent the organization to customers, and provide excellent customer service. This is a hybrid role that involves driving heavy vehicles and making deliveries, as well as working as an Inside Sales Representative to provide administrative and technical support to internal clients.

What You Will Do

Your responsibilities will include driving a 5 or 10 ton truck to make deliveries, balancing cylinder load sheets, and performing administration duties such as using handheld technology to process deliveries and reconcile agent consignment inventory balances. As an Inside Sales Representative, you will welcome and advise customers, provide administrative and technical support, and provide creative customer service techniques.

Why It Might Be a Fit

This role requires a valid Class 3 or DZ license with air brakes, minimum of 1 year driving experience, and minimum Grade 12 education or equivalent experience. You should be able to handle and lift goods up to 60 lbs, have good interpersonal and communication skills, and be comfortable with computers and the Microsoft Office suite.

Requirements

• Valid Class 3 or DZ license with air brakes
• Minimum of 1 year driving experience with recognized driving school training or 3 years driving experience
• Minimum Grade 12 education or equivalent experience
• A clean driving abstract
• Ability to handle and lift goods up to 60 lbs
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Comfortable with computers with the Microsoft Office suite
• Industrial sales skills
