Material Handler/Truck Loader

Role Overview

Metals USA is seeking a Material Handler/Truck Loader to execute customer work orders, prepare product for shipment, and operate equipment such as overhead cranes and forklifts. The role requires physical activity and working in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures, noise levels, and exposure to oils, dust, and metallic particles.

What You Will Do

Pulls, assembles, and inspects customer orders, loads trucks for delivery, operates overhead cranes and forklifts, receives and returns items into stock inventory, and transports material using cranes or forklifts.

Why It Might Be a Fit

The ideal candidate will have a high school graduate or equivalent, basic math skills, and basic reading and writing comprehension in English. Valid OSHA Forklift and Overhead Crane Certification is preferred, but willingness to train is required. A valid and current driver's license in good standing is also required.
