Job Description
The Delivery Manager is responsible for the technical delivery and dependency management through close collaboration with the Division's stakeholders as well as other cross-functional units within the organization. The delivery manager performs SCRUM Master duties and responsibilities to the SRUM team in addition to developing the project plan, scope, estimates, timelines and manage the implementation of technical projects using project management methodologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- Excellent communications skills (Oral/Written)
- At least 5 years of experience as a full-time project manager in a financial services, banking or insurance industry
- Proven track record of successfully managing medium to large scale or complex IT projects
- Experience in leading and managing cross-functional project teams through the entire project lifecycle
- Strong understanding of IT systems, technologies, and methodologies relevant to banking and financial services
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC), Agile methodologies, and project management tools
- Versed with different project management frameworks (e.g. Waterfall, Agile/Scrum) and preferably certified (PMP, SCRUM, PRINCE2)
- Proficiency in change management processes to facilitate smooth transitions during project implementations
- Ability to anticipate and address resistance to change among stakeholders and endusers
- Proficient in project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation
- Ability to identify and mitigate project risks related to security, compliance, and data privacy
- Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including business users, IT teams, vendors, and regulatory bodies
- A self-starter who takes initiative, can work without supervision and begin projects independently, embrace challenges, sets high standards, focuses on successful outcomes and promotes teamwork
- A fast learner that can come up with several solutions to solve a problem and will analyze to quickly to determine the best course of action
