Drafting Coordinator

Metromont LLC is a leading construction company seeking a Drafting Coordinator to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and preparing complete and accurate working plans, charts, and drawings for complex projects using CAD equipment and software. The role requires a strong understanding of multimedia personal computer standards and policies, as well as the ability to work independently and adapt to changing schedules and tasks.

Requirements

• Coordinate all design and drafting functions for assigned projects
• Track assigned jobs and coordinate schedules with Drafting Manager, Plant Scheduler, and Project Manager
• Act as the primary liaison between the customer and internal Metromont departments
• Assist in the analysis of problem areas and recommended solutions
• Act in the capacity of prime checker of assigned projects and be responsible for the accuracy of erection drawings and shop tickets
