Maintenance Mechanic

Metromont LLC is a leader in the construction industry, accepting resumes for a Maintenance Mechanic position. The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for performing maintenance and repairs on production and facility equipment. Metromont is a trusted partner with customers across the eastern seaboard, southeast, and west to Arizona.

Requirements

• Operate equipment and tools as needed to perform work
• Perform maintenance and installations on a variety of equipment, buildings and systems
• Perform preventative maintenance on all equipment as needed
• Use manufacturers manuals, instructions, schematic diagrams, plans and sketches
• Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting
• Detect and report any unusual conditions or major maintenance needs to proper supervisor
• Repair off-road heavy equipment (if applicable)
• Work with overhead cranes
• Implement cost-saving maintenance programs
• Adhere to environmental and stormwater pollution prevention policies
• Housekeeping as necessary to maintain work area, tools and equipment in a clean and orderly manner
• Must adhere to all Metromont and OSHA safety rules and regulations
