Credit Underwriter (CRE)

Come work with us at Metropolitan Commercial Bank, a full-service commercial bank based in New York City. We are seeking a Credit Underwriter (AVP) to undertake and present robust credit risk analysis in support of relationship-led loan requests from our Commercial Real Estate (CRE) team.

Requirements

• Undertake financial and credit risk analysis for borrowers and guarantors in a timely manner
• Analyze third party appraisals and challenge appraiser assumptions
• Work closely with Lending Officers throughout the transaction process
• Undertake annual review of loans and escalate any performance concerns
• Assist in the completion of various reports and gather information required by Bank examiners and internal audit
